KTH Study Benchmarks Allium as the Most Accurate Ethereum Data Source

Researchers at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology benchmarked leading blockchain data platforms against a self-hosted Erigon node and found Allium the most accurate, then used Allium as the sole data source for their study.

What the paper looks at

On-Chain Analysis of Smart Contract Dependency Risks on Ethereum is a large-scale empirical study of how Ethereum smart contracts depend on one another, and the risks those dependencies create.

Where Allium comes in

The team compared Allium, BigQuery, and Dune against an Erigon node. Allium showed a negligible deviation from ground truth and was the only platform that included precompiled-contract interaction data the study required, so every figure in the paper was extracted from Allium.

Our results indicate that Allium delivers the highest accuracy. Consequently, in this paper, all numbers are extracted from Allium.
